Terms & Conditions
The terms and conditions apply to all contracts the customer enters into with SEGMENT. The terms and conditions are valid in the according version for the time of purchase. By placing an order customers agree to the terms and conditions. Diverging terms and conditions are only valid in a written agreement.
Conclusion of Contract
By placing an order via email the customer only applies for an offer to conclude a contract. SEGMENT has the right to take on this offer. The order intake will be confirmed by SEGMENT via email. Sending the order confirmation leads to a legally valid conclusion of a contract between the customer and SEGMENT. The terms of conditions can be found on the homepage https://segment.supply.
Retention of title
The delivered goods remain the property of SEGMENT until the payment is fully completed.
Prices are valid as shown in the article description at the time of the order, plus costs for packaging and shipment. All indicated prices include the legal VAT as of the time of order. Further costs for foreign bank transfers have to be carried by the customer.
Payments are made exclusively via prepayment, Paypal or credit card and are due to the time of contract conclusion without further deductions. When choosing prepayment, we will send you the according to bank details in the order confirmation. The invoiced amount has to be paid to our accounts within ten days.
Shipping and Shipping costs
The goods will be sent to location announced by the customer via an insured UPS package. Find further details on http://ups.com. For every order, the costs will be determined individually and independently from the price. The costs are addressed to the condition of the goods, type of shipment and shipping destination. Customs, import tax, and further duties are carried by the recipient. We do not send to packing stations.
Delivery times are valid as stated at the time of order, beginning with the receipt of payment. When the goods are not in stock at the time of order, they will be manufactured immediately. The customer will be informed and will receive a delivery time.
When delivery to the customer fails because the delivery address was stated incorrect or incomplete a new delivery attempt would only be made when the customer carries the cost for the new shipment. The new shipment costs comply with the contracted delivery costs at the conclusion of a contract. SEGMENT will inform the customer about the new costs via email. The new attempt of shipment will take place after receipt of payment of the according to costs. The recipient is obligated to check the goods for potential shipping damages and further inform SEGMENT in a written notice for us to be able to assert a Claim.
The offered products are handmade and can show small deviations. These features are characteristics and no defects. The depicted images on the homepage and further advertisement are sample images. The warranty deed meaning the obligations concerning the shipment of faulty goods is based on general legal regulations. Warranty claims exclude damages that are caused by natural abrasion, improper use or wrong care. The warranty expires immediately when the customer changes the product. Obvious defects have to be reported precisely in a written statement directly after receiving the goods. Defects that are reclaimed by the customer within the warranty time will be taken care of by rework or new delivery.
You have the right to revoke this contract within fourteen days without specifying any reasons. The revocation period is fourteen days with effect from the day, - on which you or a third party nominated by you, which is not the carrier, had taken possession of the products, provided you had ordered one or more products within the scope of a standard order and this/these product/products is/are delivered uniformly; - on which you or a third party nominated by you, which is not the carrier, had taken possession of the last product, provided you had ordered several products within the scope of a standard order and these products are delivered separately.
In order to exercise your revocation right, you must inform SEGMENT of your decision to revoke this contract by means of a clear declaration (e.g. a letter sent via post or email). You can use the enclosed specimen revocation form for this, which however is not mandatory.
In order to safeguard the revocation period, it is sufficient that you send the notification about the exercise of the revocation right before the expiry of the revocation period.
Consequences of the revocation
If you revoke this contract, we shall repay all the payments, which we received from you, including the delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs, which arise from that fact that you selected a form of delivery other than the most reasonable standard delivery offered by us), immediately and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which we received the notification about the revocation of this contract from you. We use the same means of payment, which you had originally used during the original transaction, for this repayment unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; you will not be charged any fees owing to this repayment.
- We can refuse the repayment until the products are returned to us or until you have furnished evidence that you have sent the products back to us, depending on whichever is earlier.
- You must return or transfer the products to us immediately and, in any case, at the latest within fourteen days with effect from the day on which you inform us of the revocation of this contract. The deadline is maintained if you send the products before the expiry of the fourteen-day deadline.
- You bear the direct costs for returning the products.
- You must pay for any depreciation of the products only if this depreciation can be attributed to any handling with you that was not necessary for checking the condition, features, and functionality of the products.

Criteria for exclusion or expiry
The revocation right is not available for contracts, for delivery of products, which are not prefabricated and for whose manufacturing an individual selection or stipulation by the consumer is important or which are clearly tailored to the personal requirements of the consumer; Customization in this sense are all products differing from the depicted goods in the online shop, in size, material or those that are manufactured in special sizes.
SEGMENT treats customer information with the utmost respect and integrity. No information will be disclosed to third parties. Your personal data is processed and used for completing and processing your order and also for processing your requests. When your personal data shall be deleted, please send a mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Choice of law
German law shall apply. This choice of law only applies to customers if it does not result in the revocation of the protection guaranteed by the mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which the respective customer’s usual place of residence is located.
The contract language is German.
Alternative dispute resolution
The EU Commission provides on its website the following link to the ODR platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
This platform shall be a point of entry for out-of-court resolutions of disputes arising from online sales and service contracts concluded between consumers and traders. The seller is neither obliged nor prepared to attend a dispute settlement procedure before an alternative dispute resolution entity.
Should any of the above provisions be or become ineffective, the continued existence of the contract and the remaining provisions are not affected by this.
